The Standard is the perfect place to hold a private event! I was struggling to find a restaurant with vegetarian options and one that would give us time to set up the space for a Golden Girls themed bridal party. The guests were able to order off the expansive menu, including bottomless mimosas. The drinks were strong and everyone enjoyed their meals. My veggie and black bean burger was moist and flavorful. The waitress was attentive and management was helpful. The event space had a TV that I hooked up to my laptop to play endless wedding scenes from Golden Girls. The restaurant allowed us to bring in cheesecake which is crucial for any GG party. We have unforgettable memories thanks to the flexibility and excellence of The Standard! (Sharing pictures so you can see what is the possible with the space. Bonus points if you can count correctly how many images of Sophia, Blanche, Rose and Dorothy there are.)

Our family held a 15 person engagement party at this location yesterday and we were so impressed! The staff, Matthew & Alexis (?) were so accomodating, friendly, knowledgable and funny. The food was fresh and delicious--and I heard the drinks were strong and yummy. I had the brown sugar salmon and my hubby loved this spicy, saucey, chicken dish. Did you know they have a private room available? It is an intimate setting with crushed velvet banquettes, wallpaper and artwork. If you are looking for your new favorite spot to host get-togethers this might be it. They also piped in music for all ages and we danced a bit. Oh and we love that they proudly fly the flag and are so inclusive--we all felt welcomed. The back of their work shirts say "F*** Politics" I couldn't agree more.

What bad can I say about this place? Absolutely nothing. The food is delicious. I had a standard burger. I added a fried egg and avocado. Also, I had the garlic fries. They were delicious. My friend had the linguine with meatballs and they were impressed. Their Standard Old Fashioned is a must have. It did take a while to get our food and to get silverware but they were super busy. Our waiter was serving the bar, some booths and outside. He was amazing to say the least. It was a chill vibe and not too loud. It was very laid back. I love the chandeliers.

$20 BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS!! Atmosphere is super cool. Love the little bar area in here. Has a "Home-town" bar vibe that makes you feel confortabile to have a seat. Service: bartender Brittni loves the food here and was very knowledgeable. She steered me in the right direction for some delicious food. Food: while I've only had two items, I'm surprise the reviews aren't a bit higher based on what I experienced. Loaded baked potato soup- this was simply fantastic. Lots of different flavor profiles, I added a little Cholula to spice things up :). Beef tips (appetizer)- this had an awesome customer horseradish sauce along with a nice fresh arugula mix. The tips in my opinion could have used a hotter dead with a bit more exterior seasoning, but I wasn't disappointed at all. The horseradish drizzle made up for it. All and all- I'll be back to try some other items soon!
